Country Studies

  • The 2010 Tanzania Demographic and Health Survey (2010 TDHS) was implemented by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) from December 19, 2009 to May 23, 2010. Funding for the survey was provided by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MoHSW), Tanzania Food and Nutrition Centre (TFNC), Department for International Development (DFID), World Health Organization (WHO)/Zanzibar), United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), World Food Programme (WFP), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and Irish Aid. ICF Macro provided technical assistance for the survey through its MEASURE DHS programme.
