Hyacinthe Kankeu Tchewonpi holds a Ph.D in Health Economics from Aix-Marseille Unversity, France. He is currently a research fellow at Centre for Health Economics, University of York, United Kingdom. He works on health financing issues in sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on informal payments for health care. Before joining AMSE in 2012, he has worked for the World Health Organization as an intern at the headquarters in Geneva and as statistician at the country Office for Cameroun in Yaoundé.
