Zeinab Khadr is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economic and Political Science, Cairo University, Egypt and an Associate Research Professor at the Social Research Centre, American University in Cairo, Egypt.  Prior to this she was an assistant research professor at the latter and an assistant professor at the former institution. She was also a research assistant for the Evaluation Project at the University of Michigan, USA. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology (Demography) from the University of Michigan. Her research interests include health equity, demography of aging, urban health and demography and reproductive health.
