Résumé
The European Health Economics Association (EuHEA) has the objective to promote cooperation among all national health economics associations and groups in Europe as well as to profile and foster health economics at European universities. The biannual EuHEA Conference provides opportunities for participants from academia, policy and industry to exchanges ideas and innovations in the field of health economics.
The theme of EuHEA 2018 will be Shaping the Future: the Role of Health Economics
Maastricht University and the Maastricht University Medical Centre will host next year’s European Conference on health Economics (EUHEA) in Maastricht, the Netherlands. This EUHEA conference will take place from Wednesday 11 July till Saturday 14 July 2018.
The theme of the conference is “Shaping the future: the role of health economics”. It wishes to stress the need and importance for health economics, and to promote cooperation among all national health economics associations and groups in Europe as well as to profile and foster health economics at European universities. New perspectives in health economics methods and in the role of health economics in policy making will be discussed during plenary sessions.

The official language of the conference is English.
Abstracts and organized sessions
As from November 1st, 2017, you can submit your abstract. You have the opportunity to submit an individual abstract or an organized session that consists of 3 to 4 oral presentations.
Submitting an abstract requires you to give the following information:
• your particulars
• co-authors
• title of the abstract
• abstract (maximum of 2800 characters for Objectives, Methods, Results, Discussion)
• category
To submit an organized session, you will need to first submit the session with a description (including the organizer, the chairman and the individual presenters) and afterwards submit each individual abstract.

The Scientific Committee will review all submissions and select the oral and poster presentations. Once the reviewing has been completed on March 16, 2018, you will receive an email informing you whether your scientific contribution has been accepted. In case of acceptance, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the request to register online and upload the abstract text and/or your poster. The EuHEA scientific programme including all dates and times will be published in May 2018. Please note that all presenters are obliged to pay the conference fee.
