Carla Makhlouf Obermeyer is an Associate Professor at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and is the director of the Center for Research on Population and Health. She holds a Ph.D. in Population, Maternal and Child Health and Behavioral Sciences from  Harvard School of Public Health.
