Vacancies: Health policy analysts at MTRC

MTRC (Med Tech Reimbursement Consulting, https://mtrconsult.com/) is looking for health policy analysts with deep understanding of organization and financing of health care system of at least one European country to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Monitoring of development of legislation about hospital financing, reimbursement of medical procedures, devices and in-vitro diagnostic tests, health technology assessment in European countries
-  Development of summaries of key policy developments
- Search and data extraction from policy documents, technology assessments and reimbursement assessments of medical devices in European countries
- In-depth review of evidence situation for medical devices
- Payer interviews

Requirements:

- Master degree or higher (e.g., MS, MPH, MBA, PhD) or equivalent. Formal training in health economics, public health, policy analysis, or related discipline is a must
- Deep understanding of organization and financing of health care system of at least one European country (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland)
- Proven record of development of scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals preferred
- Good understanding of principles of health economics, evidence-based medicine and health technology assessment preferred
- Work experience as a health policy analyst preferred
- Good writing and speaking English language
- Good communication skills
- Position is home-based. Location of candidate in Stockholm preferred.
